This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their personal information, submitted at their own will only for the purpose of inspiring others, or to showcase NIRMAN’s achievements/success, or for any other purpose that is lawful/genuine or otherwise necessary for public benefit or for improvement of NIRMAN’s policies/approaches/strategies/activities, is being used online. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your personal information in accordance with our website.

What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our website?

In general, nothing. Unless the visitor is required to sign up/in either as an outsider or as a staff member, NIRMAN’s website is free for access to all, without asking for any personal information except for the ‘Feedback’ provision or provisions of similar nature(which is completely optional and left to the discretion of the visitor himself/herself) that may ask for few very basic information that helps us to respond back to the concerned person, either for acknowledgement or for further clarity or for a clarification he/she deserves.

However, tenders and announcements of similar nature including Expression of Interests, Request for Proposals, or Procurement Notices; and career opening announcements such as job opportunities or internship facilities may require detailed personal information of the applicants which is lawfully obvious, but even in that case the visitor has complete liberty to choose if to apply under the required system or not. Same is applicable for participation opportunities in the ‘Events’ organized by NIRMAN from time to time, as well as for ‘Donations’ or financial contributions made to NIRMAN.

When do we collect information?

We collect information from you only when you decide to participate in our procurement process, feedback/query process, events, or employment process; or decide to make a donation; online/offline.

How do we use your information?

We use this information to respond back to the concerned person/organization, either for acknowledgement (which may be in the form of a receipt against payments) or for further clarity or for a clarification/confirmation/invitation/intimation he/she deserves .

How do we protect your information?

  • We only provide articles/visuals/audio-visuals and information related to our activities and approaches. We never ask for debit/credit card numbers unless until a third party gateway requires the same to allow a donation or any other payment allowed/approved by NIRMAN.
  • We do use Malware Scanning.
  • We also use SSL to ensure security of our web-operation. 
  • We do not use the information available with us for any vested personal interests, including grudge or other malafide intentions.

However, NIRMAN doesn’t store confidential information which certain third party links, that work independent of but for NIRMAN, may ask for (such as debit/credit card numbers), as allowed to them as per Government of India guidelines/policies.

Do we use 'cookies'?

We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.

We do not include or offer third-party products or services on our website except for those meant for philanthropic purposes, or community welfare, or ecological/environmental security, or otherwise providing the user a scope for advanced search.
